Economy & Jobs.

Tax, trade, and regulation that serves American workers — not Davos. The middle class doesn’t need a lecture. It needs a raise.

The American economy is the largest, most productive engine of human flourishing in human history. It was not built by central planners and it does not need their guidance. It was built by people who took risks, worked late, raised families, and kept what they earned.

For a generation, both parties bargained American manufacturing for cheaper consumer goods — and the bill was paid by the same set of zip codes every time. Republicans have a simpler proposition: the policy that serves the American worker is the policy that serves the country.

Lower taxes on labor and small business. Trade deals that defend American IP and American jobs. Energy abundance that lowers the price of everything. Elect Republicans funds the candidates who write that policy and the year-round Republican infrastructure that gets it passed.

The terms of a working-class economy.

  1. 01

Cut taxes on workers and small business.

Defend the permanent 2017 tax cuts and build on them. Lower marginal rates on the people who built the country. The American worker keeps more of what he earns — and the small business that hires him keeps more of what it makes.

  2. 02

Cut the regulation strangling Main Street.

A working-class economy cannot run on a compliance manual the size of a phone book. Sunset rules that have outlived their purpose. Restore proportionality between rule and risk.

  3. 03

    Trade that serves American workers.

Free trade has been good to capital and uneven to labor. Republicans negotiate deals that protect American manufacturing, American intellectual property, and American supply chains.

  4. 04

    Bring manufacturing home.

Steel, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, batteries. The strategic industries that won the last century should not be outsourced into the next one.

  5. 05

    Affordable, abundant energy.

Cheap energy is the input on every other input. American oil, gas, and nuclear lower the cost of every good and service the working class buys.

  6. 06

    Sound money.

A dollar that holds its value is a dollar working families can plan around. End the inflation that punishes savers, renters, and the people without a hedge.

Take Action

The middle class needs a raise.

Fund the Republicans who will lower taxes on labor, defend American manufacturing, and put the worker at the center of the policy.
