Marion Michael Rounds has emerged as a prominent conservative leader, leveraging his business background and deep South Dakota roots to serve his state and nation. Born in Pierre, South Dakota in 1954, Rounds was raised in a community that values hard work, entrepreneurship, and public service. He graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, establishing early foundations for his future career in business and politics.
